Star wars: episode ii – attack
Among the millions of fans around the world there is an eternal debate: in which order to watch the Star Wars movies? Don’t worry, young Padawan, do you want to celebrate World Star Wars Day with a marathon of your favorite saga? Here are the different ways to enjoy this sci-fi classic.
Naturally, there’s a strong argument for watching the films in the order they were released in theaters, i.e., in production order. This means watching the original trilogy, starting with Episode IV – A New Hope, and then The Empire Strike Back and The Return of the Jedi, before moving on to the prequel trilogy of Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
Then, of course, there’s Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015); the standalone prequel Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016); Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017); Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018); and, finally, Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

The «Battle of Heroes» piece, which is featured in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, during the battle sequence between Yoda and Emperor Palpatine in the Senate chamber on Coruscant, and the simultaneous battle between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, had a «Duel of the Fates» piece, but rewritten in a tragic mode. Lucas had expressed in a documentary of The Phantom Menace that he wanted to use «Duel of the Fates» in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, as he liked the feel of the work. However, he decided not to use it mainly because it didn’t match the tragic mood of the duel between Obi-Wan and Vader. «Duel of the Fates» makes an appearance during the Yoda and Palpatine fight scene. For this example, John Williams re-recorded the chorus and layered it on top of the lesser vocal recording from Episode I.
The piece is also heard in the video games themselves based on the Star Wars saga, as well as in Soulcalibur IV, whenever The Apprentice fights within any of the game’s three Star Wars-themed stages, as well as during its extended ending. «Duel of the Fates» also plays when Darth Maul appears during the Jedi Training Academy show presented at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.
